AWN – CBRNS Members attended 66th INMM Annual Meeting in Washington, DC

Members of the Arab Women Network in CBRN Security participated in the 66th annual meeting of the Institute of Nuclear Material Management, held in Washington, DC, from August 24-28, 2025. It was a very engaging and productive week for the network and for its members. Network members participated in a number of meetings, including a meet-up session with the Office of Radiological Security. Ms. Jasmine Auda, President, CBRNS, and Ms. Fatema Saeed Alnaqbi, Mentorship Officer, AWN-CBRNS, presented their papers during the technical sessions, titled ‘Arab Women Network in CBRN (AWN-CBRN) and its Role in CBRN Security in the Middle East Region,’ and ‘Gender Equality and Leadership Development for Women in Nuclear Energy Security,’ respectively. Members of the network also attended the INMM professional chapters meeting and will be working with the INMM Chapters Committee to establish the INMM Middle East Chapter.
